Applying for a licence

This section explains how your organisation should for apply for a licence to be on the register of sponsors for the points-based system, what staff you need to allocate to roles, what information you need to provide to apply, how you apply and how you can withdraw your application.

You can only apply to go on the register currently if you need a licence for Tier 2 (General) - skilled worker and/or Tier 2 - intra company transfers. We are not taking registration applications for Tier 2 - sports or religious workers and tiers 3, 4 or 5 currently.

We will let you know before each tier registration opens and we start taking applications.

You must pay the correct fee with your application. You should read the section on costs for details.
