This page is a troubleshooting guide, answering common questions and problems about the sponsorship management system.
A mistake has been identified in the sponsorship management system user manuals and CD-based e-learning.
If you became a licensed sponsor before 27 November 2008, the authorising officer will be sent a letter with the information for the level 1 user to log in to the system. If you have not received a letter, contact the Sponsorship helpline - you can find the number on the right of this page. The user will get an email containing their password.
If you became a licensed sponsor after 27 November 2008, you are sent your log in information with your letter confirming you are on the register of sponsors.
Any level 1 user can find your user ID in the system, so you should ask them to give it to you.
If you are the only level 1 user and you have forgotten your user ID, contact the Sponsorship and Employer Helpline - you can find the number on the right of this page.
You can ask for a password reset by choosing 'Forgotten your password?' on the log in screen.
Your password should be between 6 and 16 characters, and include a number from 0 to 9. It should not contain your user name or user ID. The password is case-sensitive.
If you enter an incorrect user ID or password several times, your account is locked for a short period of time. You should try again later after 20 minutes.
You can find a copy of your payment note in 'Outstanding payments'. Payment notes remain in the system indefinitely.
We have tested the sponsorship management system on recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 and 7, Mozilla Firefox 2 and Safari version 3. These are four of the most common internet browsers in use at the moment. To check what version of a browser you have, click on 'Help' and 'About'.
We try to make our website and web services as accessible as possible. If your browser software for accessing the internet is not in the list above, the sponsorship management system may still work on your computer.
