The UK Border Agency is investing in cutting edge technology projects. New technology can provide:
- facilities to accurately count travellers in and out of the country;
- fast-tracked entry to the United Kingdom for trusted travellers, using biometrics;
- greater capability to detect illegal immigrants attempting to get into the United Kingdom.
