Marriage to partners from overseas
The aim of this consultation paper was to seek a range of views to inform some changes to the arrangements governing the issue of marriage visas and to applications for settlement based on such a visa.The consultation ended on 27 February 2008. The Government's response to this consultation and a revised analysis of consultation responses was published on 23 July. These can be found in the document 'Marriage visas: the way forward' below. An impact assessment and an equality impact assessment on raising the marriage visa age were published on 25 November. These can be found below.
