The UK Border Agency has published its new customer charter, which clearly and simply explains who we are and what we do.
The customer charter delivers a promise in the UK Border Agency customer strategy to simplify our service and delivery standards. The customer strategy, which was published in January 2009, explained why striving for excellent customer service is consistent with our aim of securing our border and controlling migration for the benefit of the United Kingdom. (A customer is anyone who uses our services.)
The charter will help us to help our customers, by committing us to service and delivery standards. We will do our best to provide customers with the services they need, when they want them. The charter also explains how customers can help us in their dealings with us.
