This page gives details of organisations that may be able to give you help or useful information while you are working in the United Kingdom.

The work permits customer contact centre can answer general enquiries on work permits and registering on the scheme. You can find their contact details on the right side of this page.

If you need advice on your immigration status, such as applying for a residence card after you have worked here for 12 months, you should contact the Immigration Enquiry Bureau. You can find their contact details on the right side of this page.

For information on obtaining your employment rights in the United Kingdom you should refer to the Directgov website where there is information in English and other languages. You can also contact the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) for free advice about your employment rights.
