Can my dependants come to the United Kingdom under the sole representative of an overseas firm category?

This page explains if a business person's dependants are allowed to enter and stay in the United Kingdom under the sole representative of an overseas firm category.

Dependants

The dependant of a business person may be admitted to the United Kingdom.

A dependant is a wife, husband, civil partner, same sex partner, unmarried partner and child under the age of 18 years old.

Making an application

You should make an application for your dependants at the same time as your own application and using the same form. For further details on how to apply you should see the applying section.

Dependant children over the age of 18 years will have to make their own separate application and pay a fee (see below).

Extending your dependants stay

You should make an application for your dependants at the same time as your own application and using the same form. See the section on how to apply for an extension to their stay for further details.

Settlement

You should use the same form when applying for settlement (indefinite leave to remain) for yourself and your dependants. For further details see the section on how to apply for settlement.

Fees

You will have to pay a fee when you make your application. See the fees section for more information.
