How much does a work permit cost?

This page provides details of the fees for the work permit application forms.

You should send the fee with your application form to the appropriate address on the Where to send form page. The fees for each work permit are listed below:

Business and Commercial work permit

WP1, WP1X, SR1 and PD1 - £190

Training and Work Experience Scheme (TWES)

WP1, WP1X and MTI1 - £190

Sports and Entertainments

WP3 and WP3X - £190

Student Internships

WPSI - £190

General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS)

GATSA and GATSB - £190

A group application submitted under the Sports and Entertainment category will cost £190 regardless of the number of members within the group.

You can make your payment by:

  • cheque; or
  • debit card; or
  • credit card; or
  • postal order.
